Position Summary: English Teacher

Duties and Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with school curriculum standards and educational goals.
Incorporate diverse instructional strategies to meet the needs of all learners (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.).
Classroom Management
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Maintain discipline and encourage respectful and responsible behavior.
Student Assessment and Progress
Design and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning.
Provide regular feedback to students and maintain accurate academic records.
Communication
Maintain open and constructive communication with students, parents, and school leadership.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and share progress reports and feedback.
Instructional Innovation
Integrate technology and modern teaching tools into classroom instruction.
Encourage creativity, independent thinking, and effective communication through interactive learning activities.
Professional Development
Engage in ongoing professional learning and attend school-provided workshops or training sessions.
Stay updated on best practices and educational trends in English language teaching.
Collaborative Work
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, assessments, and co-curricular activities.
