- Position Type : Associate level
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Timings: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Dress Code: T-shirt and Denims (Uniform)
- Pre-School Teacher Pre-requisites:
- Prior teaching experience in education industry.
- Prior Pre-school teacher experience in education industry.
Qualifications:
- Graduate (minimum) B.Ed preffered
- NTT or Montessori training preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in pre-primary teaching.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education and child psychology.
- Excellent English communication skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking).
- Good Proficiency in I.T. skills (M.S. Office, Google Mail and mobile application)

Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Roles and Responsibilities of Pre-School Teacher:
Classroom Teaching & Lesson Execution:
- Follow and implement lesson plans provided by the Academic Manager.
- Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities that promote literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Use storytelling, music, rhymes, art, and interactive games to make learning fun.
- Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
Child Supervision & Development:
- Provide individual attention to children, ensuring their emotional and social well-being.
- Monitor and guide children's behaviour using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Assist children with personal hygiene needs, including restroom assistance and handwashing.
- Support children in developing self-help skills, such as dressing, eating, and organizing belongings.
Parent Communication & Engagement:
- Provide regular updates to parents regarding their child’s progress, activities, and overall development.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, orientation sessions, and school events.
- Address parental concerns professionally and maintain open communication with families.
Safety & Classroom Management:
- Ensure a safe and secure learning environment for all children.
- Maintain classroom discipline while encouraging children’s independence and self-expression.
- Follow health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when needed.
Outdoor & Extracurricular Activities:
- Organize and supervise outdoor education programs and play activities.
- Encourage physical activities to promote motor skill development.
- Plan field trips and coordinate with external educational and recreational institutions.
Collaboration & Professional Development:
- Work closely with the Academic Manager and follow the curriculum framework.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings as required.
A Pre-School Teacher plays a crucial role in shaping the early childhood learning experience. They are responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where young children can develop social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills.
At Oscar Daycare and Preschool, the Pre-School Teacher follows structured lesson plans given by the Academic Manager and works under the Mother Teacher Concept, ensuring consistency in the child’s learning journey. The teacher adheres to our Code Of Conduct.
