Position Summary Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Daycare Center Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and strong leadership skills to oversee the daily operations of our daycare center in Udyog Vihar Phase III in Gurugram. 



Centre Manager Pre-requisites:



• Prior teaching experience in education industry



• Prior management/ admin experience in education industry

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Administrative Duties:



• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the Daycare Centre, including scheduling, staffing, and maintaining records.



• Managing enrollments and admission processes.



• Ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and corporate policies.



• Handling parent inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.



• Managing budgets, expenses, and financial reporting for the Centre.



• Keep the institution’s policies and standard of quality and services in line with the Government policies



• Everyday reporting to Directors



 



2. Parent and Community Relations:



• Building positive relationships with parents, fostering open communication, and addressing parent concerns or feedback.



• Collaborating with corporate HR departments or employee assistance programs to support working parents.



• Participating in community outreach and networking to promote the Daycare Centre and engage with potential clients or partners.



 



3.  Childcare Program Development:



• Developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning, socialization, and development.



• Collaborating with staff to plan and organize educational and recreational events.



• Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of the childcare programs and making adjustments as needed



• Developing resources and materials for both teachings staff and students.



 



4. Staff Management and Assessment:



• Training, supervising, and evaluating childcare staff.



• Creating staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage.



• Providing ongoing support, guidance, and professional development opportunities for staff members.



• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff. • Resolving conflicts and addressing performance issues as they arise.



5 Leadership and Management:



• Provide strong leadership and guidance to Daycare Centre staff.



• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.



• Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.



• Manage and oversee the budget, including expenses, payroll, and financial reporting.

 



 



6 Facilities Management:



• Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the daycare facility and outdoor play areas.



• Managing inventory and supplies, including ordering supplies and equipment as needed.



• Ensuring that the facility meets safety standards and that emergency procedures are in place and regularly practiced.





7 Safety and Security:



• Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure the well-being of children and staff.



• Conducting regular safety inspections and drills, including fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures.



• Monitoring security measures, such as access control and surveillance systems, to protect the facility and its occupants.



• Promote professional development opportunities for staff members.

Other Qualifications

• Graduate (minimum)



• NTT or Montessori trained preferred



 • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (preferred).



• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a daycare or early childhood education setting.



• Knowledge of state regulations and licensing requirements for Daycare Centre.



• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.



• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).



• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community stakeholders.
